Scott Sobol, Esq

Scott Sobol was born and raised in South Florida. He is admitted to practice throughout the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

In 1999, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, from the University of Central Florida, and was named to the prestigious President's and Dean's lists for academic excellence. In 2003, Scott earned his Juris Doctor degree, from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center. During his time as an undergraduate, Scott competed in both football and baseball. Once in law school, Scott was appointed and served as Junior Staff Member in the preparation of the Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was a law clerk for Fenster & Faerber, a civil trial law firm which concentrated on personal injury cases.

Scott SobolFollowing law school, Scott began practicing law with Fenster & Faerber as an associate attorney in charge of more than 150 files. During this time, he gained valuable trial experience representing clients who were victims of automobile accidents, negligent security, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death.

In 2008, Scott was named equity partner and the firm's name was changed to Fenster Cohen & Sobol. During his tenure as partner, Scott was able to represent many clients with both pre-suit claims and tried cases to jury verdict. Scott took part and was the lead attorney in many jury verdicts on behalf of the firm's clients. While working on behalf of his clients, Scott has had several of his cases on the news for public awareness on issues such as wrongful prosecution, invasion of privacy, and premises liability. Scott also authored an article which was published in a South Florida publication regarding underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage.

In 2009, Scott created the law firm Ellsley Sobol with Rick Ellsley, formerly of Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock Liberman & McKee, P.A. Ellsley Sobol is a civil trial law firm which specializes in personal injury and wrongful death matters.

Scott is a member of the Broward County Justice Association, the Florida Justice Association's Legislative Task force, the American Association for Justice, and the Broward Bar Association.

Scott lives in Weston and enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, and their two children. Scott also volunteers as a coach for both the youth sports programs for the YMCA of West Broward County, and the Weston Area Little League.
